don't worry, you're not missing anything. I've been complete at CLS for weeks and no movement. If you've sent them everything, I would just ignore the status checker.

I just heard that Penn's OCI ends today at midnight...so does this mean that the rest will be dings? Or does it mean that Penn might not care whether or not transfers get to do OCI, and that there still may be acceptances? Sorry if this has already been answered.

I dont know anything about last year's OCI dates, but I know someone who was accepted the last weekend of July last year. If that helps

I think I read in last years thread that Penn pencils in transfer students for OCI and that there is no disadvantage in the process.

I spoke with the dean of admissions at penn yesterday. She said that all transfers participate fully in on campus interview INCLUDING early interview stuff. She was also incredibly nice overall.

The Admissions offices have changed my attitude on so many schools. The office at Penn has made me want to go there more because they are so incredibly nice.

Exactly. The one at Columbia is pushing me away. Not only have I never been able to speak to one there, because they seem to have a policy that "you will not speak to an office person unless you are on your deathbed and only an admission will save you," but they didn't answer my email either. Yuck. Too bad I still love CLS though.

CONGRATS.

After following this stupid thread religiously for the past few weeks, glad to see it work out for you.

Unfortunately, think that turns out the lights on my transfer game... If I havent gotten it yet, don't think its going to happen.

I'm still stuck at 7/11 UR. Not a good sign.

Thanks everyone!!!

Went complete at the end of June. UR 6/28 then changed to 7/6. I'll be attending notwithstanding a miracle from CLS or NYU. Really happy with this though.

Everyone who's waiting to hear: hang in there. I need to take you guys up on the 8 person house.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
