Transfer Thoughts:

Post by ttinpa1234 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 11:19 am

Would love some feedback.

Here is my situation:

Semester 1: #1 class rank at #60 law school; 3.88 total GPA (4 A, 1 B in 2 credit legal writing)
Semester 2: #2 class rank, 3.89 (3 A, 2 A- including an A- in legal writing)

Overall: #1, 3.89 GPA

Into Georgetown EA, paid deposits painfully.
Here is my remaining transfer list. Thoughts on my chances:

1) Harvard
2) Duke
3) Virginia
4) U Penn
5) William and Mary

What is your school curve like? I ended up with 3.88 overall on a 3.0-3.19 curve, but still waiting on my class rank!

I would throw out W&M and Duke, and focus on the T7. If you are west coast I would send to Stanford as well. As #1 in your class, you should be able to get at least one of HS, and a lock for most of CCN-PV.
