Re: What are your chances?
Currently in a 60s law school. GPA 3.55, class rank 13%.
I really want to transfer to NYC. So my main target school is Fordham. What is my chance for Fordham?
Is it just a wasting of money if I try NYU? How about other other top 30 schools?
Too many questions.. Thanks a lot!

#1 at school ranked 50-59, 3 CALI's. Worth sending an application to Harvard? Don't care whether it's a <5% chance of getting in. Just want to know whether they'd at least look at my app.

Re: What are your chances?
Hey, I'd definitely give GULC a shot. I applied after 1 semester ED and got in. My grades were pretty similar... 60s rank school top 5% (top 3% actually but I don't think it makes that huge of a difference). Good luck!UnfrozenCaveman wrote:90s rank school. 3.61 GPA. Top 5%. Any chance at t14? t25?

My turn...
3.793 @ Chicago TT (DePaul, Kent, Loyola)
~5%, Law Review, Moot Court Honor
Looking at U of Chicago and Northwestern
What are my chances oh wise ones? Any other suggestions on schools I would have a decent shot at?

thanks for the help...is UCLA more transfer friendly than USC? I have a hunch they accept more transfers, but do you think my stats are competitive for either of the two?stillwater wrote:Gtownmike.alexander23 wrote:TT(low)/TTT(high) top 5.96% with 3.54 on 2.7 curve

School in the 30s. Top 5% and 1 CALI award. Also Military (if that matters). I figure there's no shot at HYS but do I have a decent shot at other T14?

Oh wait, no actually you're good. Decent shot at anything from CCN down from my research (disclaimer: I'm applying to transfer this year as well). (Slim) possibility of H as well.
Another disclaimer: Transferring is a black box, so nothing is guaranteed.

Top-5%, School in the 40-50 range. Hoping for Columbia, NYU, Berkeley or Texas (resident with compelling reasons to be in Austin). Chances?
