Ugh on the seat deposit. Means I have to find $1200.

then don't pay since you'll get into HYS. :-D

Did you just find out today somehow? Or were you part of last week's batch?

Just had my status update from 3/3/11 to 4/25/11. Anyone else have their status update for the first time today? I don't know what this means, hopefully not a rejection :?:

Or maybe the deferrals/rejections start today...

Deferrals are by email right? And rejections by snail mail? And since I'm not expecting an acceptance...I hope I get an email by tomorrow...

Are you even going to pay the deposit? You're HYS material...and T6 material even with a drop from your perch!

I'm considering it. I don't have a good understanding of what it takes to get to HYS via transfer. Also, despite my research, I can't find whether H or S offer transfer students need based aid. Cost will be a prohibitive factor for me. Anyone able to shed some light?

IIRC, no one gets rejected at the EA stage, there are only deferrals.

HYS do provide need based aid, as far as I understand it. They are the only schools to provide aid for transfer because its entirely need-based.

Both offer need-based financial aid through the government...none offer need-based financial aid that doesn't need to be paid back (Only loans)

Correct me if I'm wrong...

My application complete date also changed to 4/25. I'm guessing we'll get deferral letters soon.

That's what I want to know...but I doubt it...seems like this would be the deferral round.

Taking bets now. Mass deferral emails tomorrow, before or after 10am? lol

Not looking good for the rest of us, based on last week's mass acceptances.

1. Anyone who was updated on 4/21 and received access to the admitted students website get their letters yet?

2. Anyone who was updated to 4/25 today gain access to the admitted students website?
