no change from original complete date = you're in one of the next batches

is anyone in the 4/18, no change group? Or did everyone who had an update on 4/18 change to 4/20?

Re: Georgetown EA 2011 Thread
Do we have any sign from last year's how these batches are done? Just how they get through the apps?

Re: Georgetown EA 2011 Thread
there are a few people in this group according to this thread from earlier...might be a deferment if we go on the theory that they're doing all of this in batches and those who got access to a UN/PW got it in tandem with the adcom updating their status checker.WMCowgirl wrote:DeSimone wrote:no change from 4/18 = defermentms2010 wrote:So what does this mean for those of us who didn't change? I'm still application completed from over a month ago! Maybe I'm in the second batch.

Are those who arent getting in through the first batch getting rolled over to the second batch?

Re: Georgetown EA 2011 Thread
If i recall from last year's threads-- those that saw Status Check activity during the first wave received a decision soon after-- usually an acceptance, but sometimes deferral...DeSimone wrote:or third..maf70 wrote:Are those who arent getting in through the first batch getting rolled over to the second batch?
So my GUESS would be that anyone who doesn't get an acceptance during this wave is deferred...but again, this is all so speculative. The only thing I would put my neck out on the line for would be to say if you got a username and password, you're in.

Re: Georgetown EA 2011 Thread
From what I gather, they do it in batches such that the first one is nearly all auto-admits, then there's a batch of of 50/50's and everyone else after that.Regionality wrote:If i recall from last year's threads-- those that saw Status Check activity during the first wave received a decision soon after-- usually an acceptance, but sometimes deferral...DeSimone wrote:or third..maf70 wrote:Are those who arent getting in through the first batch getting rolled over to the second batch?

This is an outlying data point. T2 top 2% would certainly be auto-admit.johnB86 wrote:Long time lurker checking in. T2, top 2%. No change at all. Best of luck all.

I may be an outlier as well- no official rank, but my career counselor recently speculated that I am likely in the top 1%. School rank is 70s.Regionality wrote:This is an outlying data point.
