Anonymous Posting
Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Wise decision since you will enjoy in-state tuition &, possibly, better job opportunities if you want to stay in Georgia or the Southeast. If you want to practice in the Northeast, then Emory should have better connections.

Emory tuition $41,376 & $24,464 for room, board & expenses = $65,840 per academic year.
Georgia resident tuition $14,448 & $15,320 for room, board & expenses = $29,768 per academic year.

You shouldn't have any reluctance to explain the cost factor in addition to your other reasons. Most employers should consider this to be a smart move. I wish you well, but top 50% at your current school may not be enough.
