Re: Emory Law 2010 Transfers
I just rented an apartment in Va Highland about 1.5 miles from Emory. Sent in my deposit a day ago so nothing concrete from career services yet. The August OCI bid deadline has passed, however Career Services told me that once they have received the deposit we can mail them and ask them to consider giving us an interview. She that this has worked with some firms in the past. However we are completely elligible for OCI for the September and Spring program, not really sure the #'s yet or how its looking. I am just planning on contacting career services and getting there advice on spamming small to mid size firms.

I'll be going to Emory too! Has everyone already registered for classes? Where are good places to live?

Re: Emory Law 2010 Transfers
Just moved into a complex called Sloan Square on LaVista Rd, north of campus. I noticed a sign saying $750 referrals. If anybody else gets an apartment there, PM me for what name to put down on the application, and I'll split the referral with you.

Is anyone doing on campus housing, or has anyone looked into it?

I'm living about 15 minutes west of campus, couldn't find anything decent nearby this close to the start of the school year.
With respect to classes: locked out of Evidence and the Legal Profession I wanted -- will have to take them in the spring.

So you already met with the Dean and everything? You didn't have to get some sort of code/pin to register, or was it over the phone?Loyant wrote:By working directly with the registrar.
