A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

They're still admitting students. I was admitted yesterday.
Just got my acceptance email. 2:51pm ET.

Email came in around noon. Top 5% at a school in the 40's. Went complete yesterday

This is probably a dumb question....but how do you submit your deposit? I received my acceptance email yesterday, and it says you can submit the deposit online, but I'm not sure how.

Applied last minute, wondering if anyone has similar stats I can compare myself to? T14, top 33%, 172 LSAT and prior work experience.

I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt. up near Columbia that I am trying to sublet for the upcoming year. I am transferring and need to get rid of this place right away. It's 2 blocks from Columbia and 1 block from the 1 train at 125th street.
Also great for those attending NYU. It's only a 30 min ride on the #1 train to NYU.

The rent in NYC is ridiculous. (esp. near NYU, ive seen studios for $1700)
The place i am offering is 1850 a month.
Avail aug. 1st.
