Re: Penn - Under Committee Review
I think Columbia said they would accept either. However, if you sent it through LSAC they wanted some type of explanation of how your class curve works (or something like that, not really sure).
Anyway, I just did some browsing on transferapps, and it appears that Penn first accepted people last year the Monday after July 4th weekend.

Well, I applied here and NYU at the deadline and haven't even gotten an e-mail from either yet confirming that I've applied. I guess I'll be needing Chicago to be my pre-19th acceptance - or maybe even Duke, which I would probably take over Georgetown.

Re: Penn - Under Committee Review
Finally went under review today. I hate my school's administration. This is a big one for me as I'm sure it is for a number of you as well. Would be absolutely thrilled and if asked to commit before hearing back from most I'd be down. On that note does anyone know what Penn's deal with that is - do you have to commit to enrollment by a certain date?

Mine says "Offer of Admission" also. But it talks about Class of 2013 and deposits being due on May 1st, did yours say this too?

Little surprised I haven't gotten in yet. Top 50s, top 3.5%, ties to PA area, complete 6/23. Thought Penn was close to a lock.
