Not so subtle Penn trolling. If there were a T7, it would include M or V, not P.

Eh. Penn is a huge feeder into NYC biglaw, moreso than M or V. That alone probably warrants at least a scenario where T7 includes Penn.im_blue wrote:Not so subtle Penn trolling. If there were a T7, it would include M or V, not P.

I think you can make a case for HYSCCV, I'm just saying it's not a no-brained that T7 would be M or V and not P. Or D for that matter, I have a feeling it's going to out-place MV or B this year. Yeah, I said it!doyleoil wrote:the V trolls will be by shortly to discuss V's ownership of the 4th circuitrayiner wrote:Eh. Penn is a huge feeder into NYC biglaw, moreso than M or V. D is going to out-place by virtue of its small class size?rayiner wrote:I think you can make a case for HYSCCV, I'm just saying it's not a no-brained that T7 would be M or V and not P. Re: Transfer to T7 Odds
I'm not saying it will happen, and don't really have evidence beyond a gut feeling to back it up, but it's a plausible scenario in my mind. I think a big thing is that the go-to market for Duke is NYC. Remember that most law students aren't saavy with bidding at OCI. Many of my friends don't all read TLS and know that DC is harder to get than NYC, or that you shouldn't bid in CA without ties, etc. When you're talking about aggregate placement, this factor becomes important and having a NYC focus like Penn and Duke will probably help.miamiman wrote:D is going to out-place by virtue of its small class size?rayiner wrote:I think you can make a case for HYSCCV, I'm just saying it's not a no-brained that T7 would be M or V and not P.
