"I am very debt-averse and only have interest in big law at all so as to pay off loans asap, after which I want to immediately quit."

Compare the LRAP programs at HY with the ones at your current school. I'm only familiar with Yale's but, depending on your desired salary and position, it may provide you with enough of a cushion to skip the big law grind altogether. If you want to stick to your biglaw plan, you want to stay in your local market, and you're happy where you are then there is no real reason to transfer.

Just my .02

I see no reason to leave unless you want academia at some point

Thanks guys. I'm more interested in a political career so public interest does appeal to me, but I also think BIGLAW has its value - i'm unattached, so I could probably pay it off in 2-3 years. I suppose I'm probably more interested in seeing if this could help me leverage some more $$ from my current school, too :)
