I dont see why you would be dinged at Mich/NU
I guess I wouldn't be an auto ding. I'm concerned because my T10% is by no means a "comfortably in the T10%" and because of a glaring sub-B+ grade (our curve is very generous). For a lot of us, myself included, I think softs are going to be a huge factor, since it's much less importantant for adcoms play the numbers game. That's not to say numbers aren't very important, but when you're choosing btw a T7% at a T100, a T10% at a T40, and a T13% at a T30, it has to come down to softs

Top 4% at a T3. Applied to Mich, Duke, Cornell, Georgetown, UCLA, USC, and UW. Best of luck to everyone. This is WAY worse than applying the first time around

Congrats. And early-summer acceptances at that.

Current school: T30
Rank: top 12%
Applied to H (I'm crazy, I know), CCN, Boalt, Michigan, and UVA.
I love my current school and wouldn't mind staying there, but it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I want this to pop up in "view your posts" so I can see if anyone mentions the schools I applied to.

Update: Apps, LoRs, official transcripts, and law school dean certs submitted to HYSCCNG. Accepted to B last week. Under review at G. Went to two UGs, one of which still hasn't sent the dean certs to either nyu or cls. Let the daily harassing begin.

Re: Official 2010 Transfer Cycle Results Thread
Anybody else missing a LOR? A professor agreed to write one, but it's not posted on the LSAC, and neither my prof nor his secretary are responding to emails or phone calls. My other professor got his letter in on time, so at least I have a shot at the schools that need only 1 LOR from a law school prof. Still--it's incredibly frustrating to have my columbia and berkeley apps held up indefinitely until I manage to track down either the letter or my prof.

same here. Both my transcript and LOR were sent to LSAC over a week ago, neither are posted.

Not sure if this applies to you, but many schools want you to send your transcripts directly to them.
Make sure you check the individual school's website.

This is some kind of game to see how dedicated you are to transferring to risk irritating your registrar multiple times. They were really nice the first two times I visited, now I'm considering faxing my requests to avoid their ire.
Also, my transcript was mailed ~12 days ago and just posted to LSAC today.

Are you guys worried about your transcripts being processed late for the Penn and Chicago applications? Otherwise, you can send all Law School transcripts directly to the schools you're applying to (at least for T-14 schools).
Also, has anyone received their User Name and Password for NYU's Online Status Checker? I sent my application through LSAC over a week ago and still haven't heard anything from them.

You're in the exact same situation as I am. Anyone know how long it took between the LSAC report and NYU sending an email?

12 days ago. crap. mine was mailed Friday.
Yeah I would recommend for anyone that mailed stuff to LSAC relatively late (like myself) that you also send the stuff directly to the school. Harvard and Yale, at least, are fine with this. And it probably is better than them sitting on your app past the deadline and having a potential reason to complain.

Penn isn't due until 7/15, you've got plenty of time even if you mailed it out today? (assuming LSAC doesn't take an entire week off for 4th of July).
I'm more worried about my last letter of rec. I'm almost considering attaching an old one from last cycle as the 2nd letter and making the 2nd law prof one 'supplemental'.
