Ouch...I'm top 3%. I received an email from them today seeking to clarify an "honor code violation" that was included in my letter of good standing absent any clarification, apparently referring to the DUI I got last fall. Cooley is stamping it on everything that goes out - letter of good standing, transcript...even requiring every admissions department to acknowledge my disclosure of the DUI prior to release of my transcript. One of my LOR's even turned out to have mentioned it. Think this means I'm dinged at Wisky, or do you think they just delayed review of my app until that was clarified?

Edit - also got dinged at UMich. Kind of a shitty day.

I have mixed feelings about Cooley. I really love the academics and professors. The administration is a hassle to deal with the the professors there are really brilliant.

CRIZZY- Thats very sad that even the professors are mentioning it. Its actually interesting because what does your DUI have to do with your performance in their class? Anyways, I think if you can clarify it you should be fine, so long as it is a thing of the past.

Where else did you apply?? A lot of Cooley people are having a lot of success so far, good luck to you!!!!

Yup. They make decisions on applicants, go buy some baked goods on Michigan avenue, come back, tweet, send out notifications, and then berate everyone who wasn't accepted.

Makes you think I should go into this admissions business. Actually, I don't even want to be a lawyer, much less a law adcomm.

TBF, I'd vote for tray. As long as he offered me significant territory with a sufficient amount of peasants.
