I'm hoping to be able to transfer to FSU from Miami after this school year. Right now, I sit just outside of the top 1/3 of my class (which is a requirement for FSU). My question is, do you think that even if I DON'T finish inside the top 1/3, my app will be rejected automatically since I'm coming from a pretty decent school?
I would think that it would be silly to not admit me when I sit just outside the top 1/3 at the #60 law school, but admit someone in the top 1/3 at a lower tiered school like Florida Coastal...

May I ask why do you want to transfer out of Miami? Everyone I've heard from UMiami are hardcore UM fans. I would love to hear a different pov.

Oh don't get me wrong, it's a great school and there are some really cool people here, but there are just other reasons I want to go back to FSU. I went to FSU for undergrad and grad school, I have a pretty serious girlfriend that is still in school there, I already have a house up there so I wouldn't have to pay for housing, the tuition at UM is through the roof while FSU is pretty cheap, it's a a better law school (just barely right now though....), and I've grown up a Seminole fan.trialjunky wrote:Sethinole wrote:I'm hoping to be able to transfer to FSU from Miami after this school year. That pretty much sums it up...
Nothing against the school
