Damn, I was hoping it was all EA people so I wouldn't worry about having applied too late! Thanks for the info all.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
To Samiseaborn: I am still at application received despite having sent my application materials in more than a week ago (6/14 - sent regular decision not EA). I called in to see what the deal was. Apparently, for those that send everything (transcripts, LOR) through LSAC, it takes a week or two for the schools to get the report after they request it. Might explain why everything is taking so long to go complete.

Do you know how they do rejections/wait list? email like EA deferred?Big Shrimpin wrote:conventional wisdom would allude to yes. however, judging by the uncertain, sporadic and anecdotal nature of the transfer admissions game, the aforementioned nervousness could be utterly unsubstantiated.jlockhart6 wrote:Big Shrimpin wrote:ffffffffck im getting a WL i can smell it. For those that went to DR - can you access the admitted student's website? That would help us all with an indication of the "first batch"

Called Admissions today, told them I'd been under review since the 8th and was wondering when I could expect a decision. She said mid to late July...Smells like a ding...

Honestly they may just be trying to get as much non-ref deposit $ as possible - esp from students that could very likely end up going somewhere else.

Some EA accepted students were able to do it immediately (check the thread in early May) - others it took a day or two at most.

I don't think people answering the phone have any idea...it's probably just the canned answer they give everyone.JackRyan2005 wrote:Called Admissions today, told them I'd been under review since the 8th and was wondering when I could expect a decision. Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Yeah who knows, she didn't look anything up, just gave me that answer. My thought process was that they sent out the first batch and are sitting on a bunch waiting to see what the first group does in terms of accepting spots in the class or going elsewhere.
For what its worth, TTT top 5-10%.
