What do you think about this round? Dings/WL/Acceptance?

you do have a point there. However, it is awful hard to argue with butters stats. T40 3%.

ok i looked at some more data from yhoo transfer aps. I think IT IS possible that this round might be mixed. In the past there have been decisions made WL/IN/OUT on the same day.

However hte only thing that does not make sense is that some auto admits do not have a deicion yet.

Perhaps if they were truly "auto-admits," then they would have gone under DR (and been admitted) in the first wave. This wave is probably mixed, but who knows? Just sit tight and wait for email/postal mail to arrive.

Argue what? Those are very strong numbers. But if you look at what gulc deigned an "auto-admit," judging by first wave RD admits -- every single one was number 1 or top 1% of their class.

Auto-admits, imo, are first-wave admits. That train has left the station for gulc, so anything goes from here on out.

I couldn't access the admitted students website until a few days after i got my acceptance packet in the mail (in CA).

UR since 6-2, DR today.
Top 2% (4th) at TTTT.

Applied to both, no change in program status.

T20 top 5%. Deferred EA, applied to both. Still UR. For those of you DR check if your status changed to just pt or ft. That seems to be an indication of an acceptance.

It seems logical to do 1 round of acceptances, then WL/Reject then more acceptances.
I searched some GULC 0L decisions and it seems that sometimes they mark decided and then wait a couple days before they send you a waitlist email. FWIW

I agree thexfactor, but its strange how all of this happended the day after the first round deposits were due.

No this is exactly why. They dont want to reject anyone before the deposits are due. They see that there are a decent amount of deposits paid. Now they can determine who they want to reject.

That isn't the point. There probably will be some dings this round. There are more applicants than spots available so the adcomms have to clean house at some point. It was just your conclusory comments about auto-admits and such that were dumb.

Guys, I live in DC and checking my mail every 5 min. Lol. I'll post results once i receive something. Although, it may be tomorrow since they just went DR yesterday. Its highly unlikley that I hear good news, but either way, I'll let you know.
