Hi, I started making a thread like this but was pleasantly surprised that it already existed!

I've looked into the Seville options for apartments on the West side...

I may take a trip to look at all of those and figure out the best one for me.
Will probably do a single for this year, though.

Did you guys get notification from Iowa that they received FAFSA because I still haven't just got the general Fin Aid email ??

I haven't gotten a FAFSA email yet. A couple of other schools have let me know they received it. I check and I have them listed, so they must just take more time than average.

Haven't gotten an email still BUT got the verification form in the mail

I will be attending this fall!

I'm almost positive about attending Iowa next year. I'm going to visit next Saturday to make sure I like the area/scope out some housing. I'll post some pictures when I get back if anyone wants to see them.

Don't remember if I got an email, but you can check whether or not they have received it on their ISIS system.

Congrats to all going to Iowa! As a graduating senior, I can say that Iowa City is my absolute, all-time favorite town and it's a great school/atmosphere in general. I noticed a lot of people were asking about housing, and I thought I'd post this link here. Something like 50% of off-campus students living in Iowa City rent from this company and they have a pretty good reputation. I personally didn't, but many of my good friends have and it would be a great place to start, if nothing else.

I did my undergrad at Iowa and will be attending the Law School here next year. The two companies I have had good luck with are Hodge Construction and Heritage Property Management. You can google either one of these names for more info. If anyone has Q's or whatnot feel free to send me a pm; If you are planning on visiting Iowa City also feel free to send me a pm and I can tell you what places are good to visit, etc. and time permitting even show you myself.

I totally joined...not much going on but I was surprised at the number of OOS students in the group

Hey everyone! 'm from Florida and will likely be attending Iowa this fall. I just returned from a visit to the law school and was quite impressed by my tour of the law school. Everyone there seemed very nice and helpful.
I'm interested in finding housing nearby the law school and would appreciate if anyone could list some of the apartments in the area used mainly by graduate students. I'm also interested in finding a law school roommate if possible. thanks!
