Dunno if I was counted in the 5 but I went straight from decision to admitted without a wait list.. just wanted to clear that up =]Columbia Law wrote:Five people off the PT waitlist on the Fordham thread.
Its hard to say, some of us, myself included, were admitted in December... I got the financial aid guidebook in the mail this past friday. My guess is you should be getting it soon, or maybe after they receive your deposit.MrSoOoFLy wrote:? guys... How long after I receive my admissions letter am I supposed to receive the financial package?

I asked about merit scholarships when I was admitted last week, and was told that they are trying to make sure that if there's any merit aid, you know about it before the deposit deadline (which in my case was 2 weeks after the admittance phone call), to help in your decision.kaydish21 wrote:Yeah I was also admitted in March and just got the financial aid guidebook last week too. Also merit scholarship offers have generally been received 2 weeks after admission.
In off the waitlist!H. E. Pennypacker wrote:Welcome Dory! Was this an initial decision or did you get in off the WL?
It says it on the first page of the Accepting Our Offer section in the handbook.. bottom right corner in case you missed itWingdw wrote:Congrats Dory!
In related news I recently stumbled upon, I discovered that in addition to the June 1st $600 deposit, they apparently want two passport pictures sent by June 1st to their Student Affairs Office ( I don't think they actually sent us anything with that piece of info on it, which is why I'm posting it here heh).
As taken from the Fordham website:
Photos: Please send two passport-sized photographs to the Student Affairs Office by June 1, 2010. Please print the name you used on your law school application and your division (day or evening) on the back. One photo will be used for your ID card, the other will be kept with your official student file and used for our online face book. If you were accepted after June 1, 2010, we ask that you submit your photos no later than July 19, 2010.
Photos should be submitted to:
Fordham University School of Law
Office of Student Affairs
140 West 62nd Street, Room 06
New York, NY 10023
Please do not submit these photos to the Admissions Office.
So... What is a passport size photo? Are you guys actually getting passport photos professionally taken? I was thinking about cropping any random JPEG on facebook and color printing it at kinkos. Thoughts?MrSoOoFLy wrote:It says it on the first page of the Accepting Our Offer section in the handbook.. bottom right corner in case you missed itWingdw wrote:Congrats Dory!
