I got offered full tuition, no strings as well. But I just can't help hearing over and over...

"Don't be a bozo and go to 'dozo."
lmao. God. ....G-d*. Who came up with that? That's like what they say about RIT: The odds are good, but the goods are odd

I totally hear ya Beebs! I also got a 15k scholly to Fordham...but ITE it's really hard to pass on something that is free...mainly b/c I don't want BigLaw and the financial freedom after LS would be kind of nice. But I'm still having a hard time debating b/c I really like Fordham! Maybe I can negotiate a little more $$ at Fordham...

I completely hear you about being debt free. It is really, really temping. But then again, for the rest of my life, people will ask where I went to law school. As shallow as it may be, I don't want to have to say "Cardozo". I want to say, "Fordham Law".

Just my 2 cents.

There have been conflicting reports on this, but from what I gather, it could happen either with your acceptance letter, or in a separate letter via snail mail. Never in email, from what I've heard.

I spoke with the admissions office a couple days ago, and asked this question specifically. She reported that they were getting ready to send out scholly letters soon - so who knows? I'd keep an eye on the mail and keep your fingers crossed!

Is anyone going to the Admitted Students event January 24? I'm definitely going to take the bus up from DC for a short weekend and check it out!

Aw, don't feel dumb, I think they just put it up early this afternoon. Really excited for the mock class and the tour especially, the only time I've been up there it was at the end of finals and they wouldn't let me walk around the building.

Should be really fun! I'm excited to meet some potential classmates - from what I've heard, Fordham has a pretty great group of students.

Ahh I wish I had known about this earlier. It's going to be too much of a squeeze for me to trek up from DC at this point. I'm definitely going to attend an event in the spring. To all you guys attending, please report back with any cool/useful information!

It says 28 students. That will be about the top 5.8% of the class. Everyone in the top third can try for a write on spot, though!

Fingers crossed. Oh god.

If you guys want, I can introduce you to current students.

Great idea, I'm up for it. Registration starts at 10:30, show starting at 11:00. Thoughts on a time/place?

OS - I'd love to talk with some students, that would be fantastic. I'm sure others would appreciate it as well.

Sounds good to me as well. Admittedly I don't know the area that well, but Saffee Sandwich Bar and Coffee on 58th (--LinkRemoved--) seems pretty cool/affordable for breakfast and not too far from the school. I'd of course be up for something better from someone who knows the campus.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
