Had the exact same question. TWEN is part of Westlaw (http://lawschool.westlaw.com/twen/), which we will receive access to during orientation.
Thanks!

Yes -when you log onto Accepted Students, you should see something like "New Reading Assignments" in red in the column on the left.

Does anyone know what we are expected to wear to orientation? I know it may sound like a silly question, but I know a number of people who recently started at various other law schools and some had very casual weeks while others were expected to arrive in office attire.

Hey so here's an update on the admitted student issue since a lot of us seem to be struggling with that -They basically gave me the email of the help desk and told me to email them. I emailed them over a day ago and just got a response saying that they will be processing it in 24 hours. But if you guys need to log in to the admitted student website either call Fordham or pm me since they gave me a guest username.

Oh yea can anyone tell me where I can find the sections...I can't seem to find it (I have my schedule) also, anyone has any suggestions on what laptop to get? (I've been on their web page but it doesn't really help much) As of now I'm leaning towards a mac book pro but I also use a netbook alot and feel that I might have trouble converting or something...(I'm kind of retarded when it comes to computers...)

If you have your schedule, take a look at the course listings, you will see your section there. For example, if your schedule says CONTRACTS 11 - CNGL 0104 - 051 you are in section 11.

If you go to the Fordham Lincoln Center online bookstore (--LinkRemoved--) under 'Textbooks', you should be able to find them there.

One of my professors has a no laptops in class rule, which really hurts my plans to take all of my notes on my computer lol. Besides for that, I still am planning to take notes on my laptops on most of my other classes.

computer - whatever you're comfortable with. if you think it's going to be chaotic to switch to a mac, then just stick to your netbook. it's light, which is crucial when you're carrying 2000-page casebooks. personally i think if you're just using your laptop to take notes on a word processor and go online, there's no need to spend so much on a mac. plus you can always get it later on in the semester if you really think you're at a disadvantage without one.

dress - casual. it's like college orientation, no need to dress up.

This, though I wore something cute. It's the first time you'll be meeting many of your classmates!

It says registration is between 8:30 and 9:45, so I'm assuming showing up at any point during that hour 15 will be fine?
