I can see my classes in NYU home but I can't see when they meet? Am I looking at the right page?
Can anyone tell what section/lawyering section they are in?

exciting!

I have that problem, too. I see the courses in Albert, but only one of them is available.

when I go to Albert, I can see the course names, section, schedule, and professor...

Me too. I confused Albert with Blackboard, which has the readings, syllibi etc. posted for each class.

Yeah, jealous of the Section 4 people who get Epstein for Ks.

Wanted Epstein also, but got Miller for Civ Pro. I'll take it!

Section 2 here! To confirm: K's with Arthur Miller on MWR? :D

Yup! What's your lawyering section? Mine's 6.

Same here!!

For anyone currently in the city - I still can't pull up a book list online by using my student ID or the course ID, but I called the bookstore, and apparently if you go down there in person and give them your ID card or ID number (N number), they will print out a personal booklist. Can anyone else make the search function on the bookstore website work?

Scratch that - I meant Miller for Civ Pro, not K's. And my lawyering section is also 6! Looks like we'll be getting to know each other. :D

It works if you search by course ID number instead of by student ID

Sorry to slightly burst your bubble but we have 3 9AM classes :-P. Lawyering is at 9 MWR. But pretty sweet schedule for those non-morning folks like myself

I hate you. I also have all 9 am classes.

I haven't been able to get the bookstore search to work, either, but I remember seeing a book list somewhere else. Also, if anyone else is in Section 1, our CivPro professor wrote a case book, so I think it's safe to assume we'll use hers.

You can find the books by searching by course rather than individual. :D

Hrm. I wonder if I'm entering it wrong. Would you put like, L03.-2001 for the course ID (I've tried it with and without the -005 suffix) and law for the department?

Oops. Missed that someone else figured this out first. It's L03 for department, 2001 for course number, and 001 (for example) for section. Make sure to select Fall 2010, too.

Awesome, thanks so much! I would never have guessed to put it in that way... all the course numbers are the same and the departments are different! lol.

I've heard from some people that it is better to get new books simply because old books will contain others' reasoning, and you want to work things out yourself. The price difference can be huge, but I think you can find good deals on new books if you look outside of the bookstore, too.

I bought most of my books new from Amazon this morning, although they were sold out of little blue books (really cheap, too :(), and wouldn't ship a couple of other books until after I move, so I may end up using the bookstore for those.

Section 2, Lawyering Section 5 assuming I'm reading that right. Miller is awesome. Not so excited about the number of afternoon classes...self-discipline time.
