I'm a loserface and don't have Facebook. I like to maintain a closely monitored internet presence.Tofu wrote:hm should i or one of you make a fbook group?

Yes. I've rejected A LOT of potential legal assistants/file clerks on the basis of their facebook profiles.Tofu wrote:ohhhrx3r wrote:I'm a loserface and don't have Facebook. I like to maintain a closely monitored internet presence.Tofu wrote:hm should i or one of you make a fbook group?

that's much safer. you don't have to worry about potential employers who may check your fbook page to see what's on it haha
I actually don't know yet. I don't know if my partner is moving with me yet (we live together). If so, then off campus. If not, then something comparatively cheap-ish would be preferable.Tofu wrote:guess i should be happy i don't have any of those, then
on another note: what do you plan to do for housing during 1L? i'm guessing you have something in mind
Agreed. I haven't had a real roommate since I was a freshman in UG... 5 years?nateDgr8 wrote:I'm hoping for a studio. Its been 6 years since I've had a roommate and really don't think I can go back. Are there options besides Lenfest or Lionsgate?

I was an expat. I don't think it's that weird. I think Columbia seems to like having an international flavor.nateDgr8 wrote:Random that three of us accepted ED people are living overseas. (I'm currently in east Africa.)
I hope you're right. Should bring together an interesting group of people.rx3r wrote:I was an expat. I don't think it's that weird. I'd say that from this board alone I'm already interested in the incoming class. It seems like a good bunch to me. Btw, I don't know what service branch you were in, but my little brother told me yesterday he was seriously thinking about joining the AF. I'm scared for him!nateDgr8 wrote:I hope you're right. I'm Navy. The AF treats its people very well, probably the best of all the services, but it really depends on what he wants to do. PM me anytime if you have specific questions.rx3r wrote:I'd say that from this board alone I'm already interested in the incoming class. It seems like a good bunch to me. I have some friends applying to the Fu Engineering School, if they get in I'll probably share an apartment otherwise a studio from University Housing, Lenfest or Lionsgate might seem like a good idea for 1L... unsure though...Tofu wrote:

In! (Not as exciting as the first IN though ;p)irie wrote:I'm inmdulak wrote:I've been on a two-year deferral to CLS, and am joining the Class of 2013. I just created a FB group a few moments ago - request to join
you were deferred, it means they could not accept you ED but nevertheless saw something they liked and don't want to reject you outright. I believe deferred applicants (from ED) are among the last to receive a decision in the overall process, so you may have to wait until April/May for an answer. Try asking on the COlumbia 2010 thread for more detailed answers: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... start=1425armenak314 wrote:hey guys,
i have a question; i was reject for ED, but it says they are going to reconsider my application for March. i was wondering what that means? how pften do poeple get these letters, and what are my chances?
