Usually the price goes up quite a bit when you get within a week of the travel date. Did you price round trip tickets? Sometimes the round trips are cheaper. Buy it and schedule the return trip for the holidays or something.Sogui wrote:Alyssa wrote:Sogui wrote:He was probably being cheeky about the summer part. Anyone think the price of a one way ticket to NYC is going to go down before the 13th?
Where from?

Just tried it, nobody seems to offer round trips that are any cheaper than the individual flights summed up. If I literally weren't broke off my ass I would've gotten them when Bing told me to at just around $100, I can't wait to stop being broke.CG614 wrote: Usually the price goes up quite a bit when you get within a week of the travel date. I still haven't bought my ticket (for Monday) and it seems like you can get the best prices after midnight. I am going to book the ticket tonight!

Hey CLS '13s,
I'm a rising 2L and I have two books for sale that you'lll need for "Legal Methods" (the class you're taking in August). The kind of textbook you'll need depends on your professor, so PM me if you are assigned to Professor Sovern or Professor Strauss. Both books are in like new condition, so PM me if any of you are interested.

Not sure I'd label it "mysterious", but I was also missing the subsidized.ohiodem wrote:Got the 'loan disclosure' e-mails for GradPLUS and unsub Stafford...was anyone else mysteriously missing subsidized Stafford?

Does anyone know where we are supposed to go to sign our lease? Is there a UAH office, or do they meet us at our place? I have an appointment, but they didn't specify where I should meet them.
NM: info is in initial email. Should have checked there first.

Hey everyone!!!
Does anyone know of someone getting rid of a bike? I am looking for one just to get between campus and home. Or does anyone recommend a place to get a reasonably-priced one, besides Craigslist?
Also....is there a main bulletin board that at Columbia that has for sale lists by other students? I've seen some here and there but I'm assuming maybe there's a certain spot these things tend to get posted....
Thanks guys!

I am interested in this as well. I'm looking for something small, perhaps a 250R or something like that. So far CL seems to be the way to go. What are you going to do about parking though? I am holding off 'til I get there and figure out the parking situation. Do they have special bike spots?berry5 wrote:Hey everyone!!!

Count me in for all this. I've been out of town but I'll be back Tuesday afternoon.
Is anyone else going to the UN thing on Thursday?

Sounds like a good idea, depending on how many people want to go. Maybe if it's quite a few we should just do drinks.Tofu wrote:Do you guys want to meet up on Wednesday and go get a meal at someplace good?

Man, you guys are making me jealous that my move-in date isn't until August 13th. We've gotta have some sort of TLS get together that weekend!

Hmm, still thinking about doing the UN thing. I'm moving in that day though, so I'll probably be too busy .
