thanks!
i say no. i did not go to either and i have not felt a difference whatsoever lol. i hardly even hear anyone mention it.
Agreed. I DID go and it made a big difference for me, but not in any way that wouldn't also be accomplished by visiting on your own. HLS is really good about setting you up when you come to visit for a tour and for meetings based on your interests. You won't miss out on anything except for the free food. :)

Hey guys and gals, hoping to get some quick advice since I need to pick my housing in the waitlist selection by tomorrow. I'm choosing between hastings and gropius dorms, please give me any thoughts you have on them. I am aware of the price difference, but I do want to enjoy my living area and enjoy the convenience of on-campus housing. Thanks!

From people I talked to, those who lived in Hastings generally liked their living arrangements, while those who lived in the Gropius dorms complained incessantly about them.

Has law review finished announcing its members from the class of 2013?

I know of disproportionately few people that got calls, but I can't believe that this would get strung out over more than 2 days.

Wednesday was the deadline for accepting. There may be more calls today to replace those who declined to join.

edit: New members now posted on the HLR website.

Thanks for the updates. I got the "you lose" e-mail, too.

Oh well, I guess it was exciting to try. I probably put 70 hours into it. I wish there was a way to know how close one came.

Still haven't gotten a rejection. I will not be happy if it turns out my application didn't get reviewed.

Hi, I'm a Fordham 1L, and Professor Jed Shugerman is visiting us from Harvard and teaching torts this semester. Does anyone have a Torts outline from his class they wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks!
