I think you just have to set up where you want your disbursement to go. Check or direct deposit.danidancer wrote:If loans are covering the entire cost of attendance we do nothing, correct?

has anyone else declined the SHIP health care? I filed my appeal papers in June, but it is still charging me the $1,700+ on the bursar bill!

Sweet! Just what I wanted to hear. I'm holding off on the direct deposit sign-up until I've set up my Ithaca checking account. Thinking of going with M&T, since they at least have a few branches in NYC...jks289 wrote:I think you just have to set up where you want your disbursement to go. I actually was just looking at that, based on this page http://studentinsurance.cornell.edu/abo ... geid=59332 it seems as though you can waive starting July 21st... Maybe they are holding your paperwork until then.legallybrunette16 wrote:has anyone else declined the SHIP health care? Random question:
Did anyone who's visited campus recently happen to notice what kind of supply electrical outlets are in in the classrooms?
(asking because my laptop can't hold a charge anymore; wondering if I need to get a new battery for it).

If I remember correctly, there are outlets everywhere - almost every desk has it's own.Oberlion wrote:Random question:

I'm actually going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that I receive mine, in NYC, by Friday. So what's that, 4 days?

Re: Serving Time in Ithaca (Cornell 2013)
Anyone else getting an error when trying to "Request PLUS Loan" that "The school does not accept that award year [2010-2011]"? Is this normal? Or will this get fixed by sending in the paper application that was emailed to us?? Help me not freak out right now lol
This is on the studentloans.gov website for clarity's sake.
