Bowling? First I've heard of it too. I blame this tricky cohort system, doesn't seem to work that well.

A classmate sent an email to what seemed to be the entire class-of-2013 listserv mentioning the bowling event.poprox wrote:Bowling? First I've heard of it too. I blame this tricky cohort system, doesn't seem to work that well.

I must not be on the listserv then because I didn't get it. Oh well, I'll be at home reading my casebooks so I can gun you guys into oblivion (just kidding, of course).

See quakeroats' post.Jericwithers wrote:I was never told of this. I am tempted to show up just to out you blancos; you are very tricky to spot.los blancos wrote:Anyone going bowling tonight?
My goal is to make it through the entire year without being outed. I think it's unlikely.
Not sure if I'm actually going tonight.

I wish you were Gob. That would be so awesome because then we would know who was going to be at the bottom of the class and the top of the magical talents list.los blancos wrote:See quakeroats' post.Jericwithers wrote:I was never told of this. I'm not on it either. A couple of people I was chatting with today also weren't on it, but no one could seem to give us an answer as to why we were missing from the list or how we could get on the list.thickfreakness wrote:I must not be on the listserv then because I didn't get it. Anyone want to share the details from the email?

Agreed. Enough of the all day orientation stuff.los blancos wrote:anyone else anticipating the start of classes and extracurrics? i just want to get into my rhythm already.
I am not, however, looking forward to gardening in the mud this afternoon for the service project.

My group literally had to do house and yardwork. Stripping carpet and padding, removing weeds and vines, etc.Chairman wrote:Agreed. Enough of the all day orientation stuff.los blancos wrote:anyone else anticipating the start of classes and extracurrics? i just want to get into my rhythm already.

Is blancos going? Outing him is very important and I would be there.

Back in the day, my group moved, cleaned, and drilled holes in rain barrels.Jericwithers wrote:I cleaned windows.thickfreakness wrote: My group literally had to do house and yardwork. Stripping carpet and padding, removing weeds and vines, etc.

Just because everyone knows your name...
I'm not sure if I'm going to go yet. Depends on how my LARW assignment comes along.

You guys have the trivia at Saties, right? I was thinking about crashing that, although if it is half as crowded as last year I would expect to eat anything.
Eh, I think I am going to sleep instead. OCI is fun, but tiring.

I've only been outed by one non-TLS poster. DallasCowboy had me worried that I was the class joke (and if I am, at least its all going on behind my back). You can out yourself to me if you think that would be easier for you, I can keep the secret. The only person I don't know yet is paralegal.los blancos wrote:Jericwithers wrote:Is blancos going? That's terrible--pulling up old carpet is more like torture than community service. My gardening work was quite relaxing in comparison.thickfreakness wrote:My group literally had to do house and yardwork. Just start discussing your affections for other fine vinters, like Franzia. The trick is to be as obscure and snobbish as possible. There's also this game called "slap the bag" that many drinkers of fine wines enjoy playing from time to time.Jericwithers wrote:Quick, someone educate me on the fine points of wine tasting and trivia!
