It's not that much work. Perhaps 40 hours per week, including classes, is about what I did the first half of the semester, and a little bit more during the second half. If you know what you are doing (and not, for example, wasting time by briefing cases), you will have plenty of free time.Damn man I was joking!I don't know (how would I) maybe it is a sick amount of studying or maybe it isn't. For the record if you read Wahool 1L's guide to his first year at UVA (where he made it to the top 10 percent) he said that he really didn't study any more than 4 hours outside of class for the first half of the semester. My insticts tell me that he may just be that naturally gifted though. Maybe Vanwinkle can answer this for us, he got Williams and Connolly level grades and from what I can tell he spent a lot of time on TLS throughout his 1L year.

Sorry if this has been asked already in the massive thread, but when do we indicate preferences for J term courses, and when will we find out if we got them? Thanks all.
Some small-section classes will have one or two graded midterms, but I believe all of the larger classes just have a final that is worth 100% of your grade. Did any sections have a real graded midterm?
