I think it was a week before orientation last year. It might have actually be orientation day. Even when you get your ID card, it won't be able to access the gym until whatever date UVA decides that everyone needs to exercise.

How do you get that? Just go with a 2L to the gym? 2 weeks of heavy drinking and no gym is going to suck
