That's good to know. Both me and my fiancee will be needing a winter jacket. In fact, both of us are going to need whole new wardrobes. All my clothes are geared towards the year round summer weather of Southern California.thisamericanlife wrote:for those that want to wait to get winter stuff, Ann Arbor has a great Bivouac and REI that usually have great sales.

I got mine about 3 days after mailing deposit. Unfortunatley, every variation of my name was taken. I ended up with bhwrd.

It too make awhile to realize your user name wasn't supposed to be a variation of "blowhard."blhoward2 wrote:I got mine about 3 days after mailing deposit. Unfortunatley, every variation of my name was taken. I ended up with bhwrd.

LOL, I get that a lot. I would have made a more creative name when I registered but I never thought I'd actually post something...tamlyric wrote:Make that two of us.goodolgil wrote:It too make awhile to realize your user name wasn't supposed to be a variation of "blowhard."blhoward2 wrote:I got mine about 3 days after mailing deposit. Indeed; I'll back Arc'teryx winter gear. Most winter days in A2 I just rock a sweater, jacket, gloves and scarf, but there are a few weeks where serious winterwear is a necessity. Pro tip: invest in some good boots.thisamericanlife wrote:for those that want to wait to get winter stuff, Ann Arbor has a great Bivouac and REI that usually have great sales.

I recommend moisture-wicking thermal underwear as one of those layers (the one closest to your skin).bighead715 wrote:they key to surviving michigan winters is...layers

A little nervous about all of it - also, does anyone know if you can send one check for bother deposits, or at least send two at the same time? I'll be out of the country when the second is due.

Congrats on making your decision. I'm pretty sure you can send both deposits in one check. Go blue!Shlonster wrote:tomorrow = sending in the deposittamlyric wrote:Nice, Helm! Congrats on taking the plunge.Helmholtz wrote:Seat deposit: secure

Alrighty, very good to know!
Btw, never made it out to an asw and i've never been to AA, so I've got my fingers crossed. I'll be in the lawyers club, too, since I won't have any time to go looking for a place there.
