Golf. Where do we play? Rates? Anything remotely nice for a decent price?

List of municipal golf courses in Houston.

Hermann Park Golf Course is the closest to campus. Rates are here. Not the best course, but it's convenient and cheap.

Memorial Park Golf Course is supposedly really nice too, but I've never played there.

Get your games in before 1L starts up.

I've been looking into how to record lectures... it seems like plugging a microphone into a laptop won't get good audio unless you get a really big, expensive microphone.

I'm not sure... I never used a recorder in undergrad... anyone have any suggestions?
I don't want to spend that much... I just bought a new laptop.

If ya'll dont mind... if you got a scholarship would you note which section you're in (anonymously if you want)... i heard some schools stack scholarship students in one section. UH said they enroll randomly... but a little anecdotal data would be nice.

As for the golf, I'm working this summer during the weekdays, but I'm off August 6 and 20. Otherwise, If you guys setup a weekend game, I'm all in.
