Anyone talked to any profs/the registrar regarding what grades we would be receiving today, if any?

I hope they manage to just get all of them out this afternoon.

They still haven't gotten all the grades back yet. They will be released by class as soon as they have all the grades for that class.

As of 10:32 a.m., none of the remaining teachers have turned in grades to the registrar. The wait continues.

Wow...that is pretty unacceptable. It's been over a month now. Didn't Crespi have all of his 4 hour exams graded a week after we took it?

5 weeks and 3 days since last final. I mean really? Really? What the frack makes SMU professors unable to meet a firm deadline? What if all the 1L students turned their memos/briefs in three days late? A shit storm would ensue. Double standard to say the least. I am the one paying 58k plus per year and these peeps can't grade 90 exams in 5 weeks and 3 days? ugh. Oh well.

Btw, SMU is one of the very last law schools (if not the very very last) in America to give back 1L spring grades. They left that out of the recruiting brochure.

Okay. I am done. Thanks.

Disclaimer (just in case SMU administration is reading this forum): I love SMU. I love SMU professors. I am just insecure about my grades and tend to take it out on the professors when, in all actuality, it is me who is to blame. Thanks. Pony up.

God bless it. They still have to do the math. That will take at least several more days.

Well maybe the prop teachers already got together, set the curve, and the evening teacher just turned her/his grades in this morning. Therefore, all forrestor/section 2 professor have left to do is turn them in. Possible.

This sounds right, assuming the evening students' grades are included in the day students' curves. If that's the case then Forrester's exams have to be graded and hopefully we will get them back.

The 2E grades are curved with the 1L days, right? Of course, for me, Con Law is the big wildcard. None of it makes much difference until I see that.

Yeah same here. I'm hoping we get those by Independence Day

"Hopefully Friday" means next week earliest in SMU talk.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
