Has everybody sent in the immunization form? I thought I was up to date on all my shots, but I guess I need a tetanus shot. Do you think it will be a huge problem if it's a week late?

Call the school. I think there's usually a grace period for immunizations.domeafavor wrote:Has everybody sent in the immunization form? I thought I was up to date on all my shots, but I guess I need a tetanus shot. Do you think it will be a huge problem if it's a week late?

Re: UIUC Class of 2013
I completely forgot about this until today. I heard that its more simple to just have your undergrad send in all the documents in (for those who recently graduated). And I would like to k now about the grace period, if anyone finds out please post it here.TCScrutinizer wrote:Call the school. Edit: I looked online, it looks like you pretty much get your entire first semester as grace period.

I talked to someone at the school, and it's pretty much not a problem until you register for your second semester classes.

I *believe* you can do it through this, but you have to have your ID set up:Rovias wrote:Also does anyone know where and how to buy a parking permit?

I'm moving on the 14th. Is anything happening before orientation? We should do a TLS bar night

I move in on the 13th (the village) and plan on having bar nights/BBQs/social gatherings with my new classmates almost every night until the 18th.

I'm moving in on the first, and I'm flat out terrified about money.

Does anyone have any information on borrowing more than the cost of attendance?

Have you contacted Julie Griffin? I think you'll just have to talk it out with finaid. I know that some people are extending the coa to cover a computer.SaintClarence27 wrote:Does anyone have any information on borrowing more than the cost of attendance?

Re: UIUC Class of 2013
Posting from the public library in Champaign. Started at 9am Friday, packed/cleaned our entire apartment, left Texas, and got to Champaign at 6pm Saturday.
I applied to, and eventually chose Illinois based almost solely upon ranking, reputation, and scholarships. I have never seen, visited, or even spoken to someone from Champaign. I've never been closer to the city than Midway airport in Chicago. That being said, the city is fantastic. Way better than I imagined. I'm incredibly excited to call this place home for the next three years.
I'm living on a very modest budget, but if anyone is planning a get together I'd like to be there.

I haven't played fantasy in a couple of seasons, but if you need someone to fill out the bottom/luck out and get 1st place in your league, I'm here for you.

Awesome. Well, if a few more people are down, we can get a league going.

Re: UIUC Class of 2013
Nice. I opened up the FFL recruitment to the "Illinois 2013" thread, since that tends to get more looks than this one does. Hopefully we'll get this thing going
