Same here.

Love that afternoon LRLW class on Friday.

Haha....What can you do? Ya the schedule is pretty great actually, besides that Civ Pro class at 8:30 on Mondays!

I'm not too upset. I knew that they were adding a credit to LRLW after the "scandal" last year. And to be honest, I need the practice.

Overall, I like having the break in the middle of the day. I think I can get a ton of work done in 2.5 hours.

Bradford, Group A. While the 9am LRW class seems a bit early if I were to want to do anything on Thursday night, it will probably be a blessing as it won't really allow me to.

Specifically, my CivPro teacher requires the casebook she authored (duh) and lists a Black Letter Outline text and ExamPro text (both also her own work) as optional. I already have the CivPro E&E but I feel like I should probably get these too.

I assume you have Mullenix. The ExamPro is the end all be all. Reading for that class is superfluous.

Me too! Section 3, Group A. Civ Pro at 8:30 Monday morning ftw!

Section 3, Group A! Let's be friends.
Friends it is. Glad I'll have at least one other TLSer to study with!

Also, Hargrave represent.

Section 3 group A also.

Yeah, and now I'm scared.

Was law school the right decision? Was it? Oh shit.

okay, bear with me here...I have two questions that I could probably google but I'm too lazy.

1) Do the societies have any relation at all to your section assignment? Like I'm in Bradford with a Byrom mentorship. I'm also a 1A. Are the other Bradfords from all over 1L or just from 1s or As?

2) Also, where do we buy our books? Are they at the co-op like all the other programs' are? I went over there yesterday and didn't see them.

I do have Mullenix, snagged the ExamPro. Thanks.

Good lord, these books are pricey. (I already knew that, but still.)

No to Duke. I realized Durham is a pit compared to Austin, I hate Cameron Crazies, I don't care about "prestige", and UT is just way cooler/better in every other category I could think of.

Also, is my schedule correct? It says I will be taking Con Law, Crim Law, Torts, and LRW. I think I was a little confused about the way class set ups were. I thought we took Contracts and Civ Pro during our first year. Do they just break them down by semester?

1) Yes. Bradford should be Section 1 groups A and B. Each Section is roughly 100 people split into two societies of roughly 50 each. The societies are split into two groups with a different mentor for each.

2)You purchase your books at the Law Coop. The 1L books will usually be stacked in big piles on the floor. They might not have all of them available yet.

Thanks! I'm curious how many 1Ls they'll end up enrolling. Sounds like they're trying to get the classes down from 400 closer to 3. I wonder if this year's is smaller than last year's.

Wow! Everyone is so excited about getting schedules. I am, too! I have two questions if you guys don't mind taking a stab.

1) I see my class list but not the times and days. Where are you guys seeing this info?

2) I recently bought some random Texas land to gain residency for my 2L and 3L years. However, I just received confirmation that the domicile law is going to change in October. Now, one will be required to live in the purchased property for a year. I briefly talked to a residency counselor, but he's not entirely sure how the law will affect those who have already purchased land. Does anyone have any info on this?

Thanks so much!!!

Click on the number under the column that says "Unique#".

Wow, one Friday class (LRW) from 9:13-10:20. Awful.
