Didn't seem like a prime location so I was glad there was a third floor apt. Gettin pretty fucking crazy stoked to head over there, 5 weeks for me probably the 20th.

In Gunner news I just finished Getting to Maybe after buying it in the WUSTL bookstore when I visited. Intellectually a very interesting
read, of course I am lacking some of the basic knowledge needed to fully grasp the tools/strategies introduced but nonetheless a great primer for 1L courses (I hope?). Will definitely read it again 1/4 or 1/2 way through first semester, tons of shit to pay attention to. I know there is some stiff gunner competition already though...
Nice I liked GTM, really interesting.

I move in in * seven days  *

Two weeks here too. I'm getting nervous, I'm buying all of my furniture in St. Louis and I'm hoping people will deliver b/c I don't know how little ol' me is going to be able to move anything at all!

So nobody knows anything about the insurance thing then? If anybody else is interested I can call tomorrow and post what they say. I'd rather keep my current plan because I'm more than likely going to need one or two surgeries during my law school career and don't want to pay a deductible on those

Stephanie13- Most furniture places deliver and include it for free if you buy a certain amount of stuff, so you might want to buy all your furniture from one store.

you can keep your current plan either way. I do think, however, that the university insurance is mandatory. Part of it might be a liability issue for the university if something happens to you on campus, blah blah blah.

Definitely call to confirm this though.
Shit is cheaper than COBRA, so I'll be signing up for it.

I will be there that weekend. Me and a lady friend are doing Six Flags Saturday, going to the bars and casino on the Landing that night, and Cardinals game Sunday. Wouldn't mind a few people tagging along that night and hanging out. She is pretty laid back so she won't care, and we'll be together all weekend anyways. I'm looking forward to meeting some WUSTL peeps.

One month for me too -- Aug 14 we move into our place.

Also, Stephanie, that's what fellow law students are for -- moving furniture! I accept beer as payment.

Yea I think you can still keep your other insurance as "secondary" insurance but from what I could tell, the WashU insurance is mandatory.

And thanks for the suggestion about the furniture. I want to try and buy my furniture second hand though to save money so I guess I'll have to see how I can work that all out.

I'm off to UCLA, overall the scholarship they offered was better. I am not to keen on living in LA.
