Still -- pumped to be in town, and my neighborhood is great. Went to a great hipster pizza joint for dinner tonight on Clayton Rd across from Schnucks.

Also, najumobi & romo -- same schedule. I think Weds off is great.
Was it Katie's?

I live off Demun and the neighborhood seems fantastic.
Yes, Katie's. The pizza is expensive, but very good. Also, we must be right by each other -- we should make sure to find each other at the Cardinals game.

I won't be able to make the game on Tuesday. Look forward to hanging out with everyone during orientation, though.

The gf and I are in KC tonight - had a great time hitting up some bars in Westport. Finally making the move to STL tomorrow. Wish I could make the cards game, but we don't yet have a permanent place to live, so we're panicking trying to get that in place before next week. Looking forward to meeting/hanging out with y'all at Sushi & Orientation!

First days in town have been hecktic. Multiple runs to costco, home depot, target, etc. I feel like i've been all over town. I've been exporing some neighborhoods. I really like South Grand and Soulard.

Also Ted Drewes ftw

Question: Did anyone find Torts & Compensation- Dobbs-6th edition at a cheaper price than the bookstore's used price? This will be the only book on the required reading list that I'm buying from the bookstore!

Is there any reason not to rent a law textbook? Would it ever come in handy as a reference down the road? I might try this road.

You can always look up any cases you need on Westlaw later (which you won't, from all accounts I've heard). Just rent 'em, it's cheaper.

Another question then...don't legal writing/research classes run for two semesters? Do we need the same books in the spring?

Is anybody going to be really bored tonight? I know I am. I can't wait for the baseball game Tuesday. But is anyone interested in meeting up for a beer tonight?

I'd rather buy a new book for $115, mark it up, and sell it for $75 then rent one for $60 and not be able to write in it. I think rented book are a tad overrated, but, then again, I'm big on selling my books.
