I agree. When there's nothing new here, I find my way to our facebook page hoping for a little more activity .

Excited to meet our class. I'm staying at a place only a short walking distance from Franklin. Living with 3 3Ls and 1 2L.

Really excited!!! So what do you know about Top of the Hill? Is this great room massive enough for 250 students, 2L/3L students, and faculty/staff? Sounds like a fun evening. The email made it seem optional with the "hope you can join us..." statement. I will definitely be there either way. I just was surprised to get the schedule and realize that there are only 1.5 days of required orientation events

Top of The Hill will have plenty of room for all of us 1L's and more. I went there during ASD and it looked like it could fit 300 people

Yeah that's what I was hoping to hear. Sometimes with these "optional" events, smaller venues are selected with the estimate that only a certain percentage will actually attend. I'm looking forward to our class showing up in large numbers. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to meeting you.

Its a nice, somewhat upscale restaurant in downtown. They definitely have room for 250+ and they brew their own beer. I went there for a HS graduation party, but that was a long time ago so I don't really remember much about the menu.Favor2010 wrote:Really excited!!! So what do you know about Top of the Hill? I'm at Finley Forest, which is pretty close to Glen Lenox. A little closer to 40, I think.Matteliszt wrote:Is anyone else in the Glen Lenox area?

Yup, about a 30 minutes drive Although I did get a hardship parking permit, so that makes it not to bad. But I'm near Briar Creek. There seems to be tons of things to do theresolotee wrote:Is that where you bought your house?LSATfromNC wrote:Getting close Just moved into my place a couple days ago. If you go to law.unc.edu -> academics -> courses -> 1st year courses you'll get a PDF with a list of all sections/what college they're part of. Looks like you're in Brandis! Any Aycock kids?LSATfromNC wrote:Awesome. How do we tell which section is which? My first class, LAW 201 - 002, is at 8:45. Any of you in my classmytwocents wrote:Anybody check out MyUNC recently? Brandis as well. Be careful, some of the sections have multiple classes in them, make sure you get yours.
