Anyone else take a hit to their need-based aid? I went from a substantial amount (7k) to none...

I went from $15k to $6k. FinAid politely (and honestly) explained that this because the school prioritizes giving as much aid as possible to 1Ls to get them to enroll, and we only get what's leftover.

I didn' t get that exact response but when I e-mailed them today I was told that they had more applications than last year. I assumed that correlated to a larger 1L class.

Wouldn't be so miffed if they hadn't told me last year that I could conceivably get MORE money this year. Instead I got nil.

Hi guys!! Just dropping in looking for older GW students- does anyone have any advice/opinions on Prof. Duffy? I have him for torts this semester at UVa, but he's visiting from GW, so very little about him on our evaluation site. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I just overheard 1Ls in the SCC talking about how their mommies are sending in all their job applications for them today. I lol'd. Good luck in the real world.
