Thanks. I'm kinda interested in splitting with the Chicago office if they'd let me, but I don't know how to bring it up.

I have spoken with a good number of people about this sort of thing (I wanted to split CA and NY), but the consensus was that this sort of split is not encouraged.

Someone told me that it was specific to the firm (e.g. DPW makes it seem like it's okay). So unless they have a reputation for it - which I don't think Katten does - then work in NY for the summer and speak with trusted friends/associates there on the firm's general policy on relocating immediately/later.

Did a lot of people get dings today in the mail? I'm away for the weekend but my cb was 4 weeks ago. Guess its a long weekend of waiting to see if mines there ...

i'm waiting too. my interview was a little over 2 weeks ago.

mine was 6 weeks ago from the end of the week... anyone who accepted know if their NY class is full?
