Did anyone attend the Ropes Gray dinner last Wednesday for HLS students doing callbacks with the firm?
If so, do you know approximately how many students showed up and whether there was something important that was discussed during the dinner? Thanks!

You clearly: 1) made the decision not to attend a free dinner, 2) if you had a real reason not to go did not bother to RSVP "no" or make your excuses after the fact, and 3) are now going for your callback and want to pretend you were at the dinner. Why, exactly, would another student -- who took the time to go & is likely competing with you for a job in a crappy economy -- tell you what happened there?
