Finding jobs outside biglaw

Postby Erie Doctrine » Wed Aug 26, 2009 9:52 am

It seems that a lot of the posts on this forum - and most of the law school system, honestly - is geared toward funneling students into "BigLaw" via OCI. Now that that well seems to be drying up, how will us current 1Ls go about finding our jobs? Or what if we actually choose to pursue work at smaller firms? Even suburban plaintiff's firms, etc., etc.? (in the interest of avoiding commute hell, the rat race, etc.)

Just flood the market with resumes, like you would do were you pursuing any other kind of job?
