Same. I'm not sure if they have gotten to DC or NYC yet.

They have, I was placed yesterday and I know of someone else who was as well, one of us in NY the other in DC.

Pretty annoying that it seems a decent group of us have yet to hear about placement. They voluntarily told us that we would know by the end of the week.

I had a skype interview some time ago... haven't heard a thing since. No follow up interview or rejection either. Hearing that many people are getting their placements, and seeing that we're within 2 weeks until orientation I don't really know what to think. Should I just assume a ding is coming?

Haven't gotten my placement as well...since the firms apparently pick people they want from the resume book, maybe the people who have already been placed for NYC and DC were picked by firms that were particularly fast in responding to SEO?

So do we have to go through the whole course for the training or can we just take the exam? I have taken many classes on some of these subjects and am wondering if they will care if I just go straight to the test and get 90% or better.

Yea I was wondering that also. Can we take the final test multiple times as well? I aced a few of the pretests so I'm thinking if we can take tests multiple times I can just sit down and do them all in a few hours.

Yes, all they care is that you get that 90%, not how many times it took you to get there.

Excellent. Also has anyone read the book yet? I just finished it and it seems pretty useful.

It's not that long, about 90 pages, shouldn't take you much time to get through.

"Professional Advice for the New Attorney" by Morten Lund

It should have been included in one of the e-mails.

Was that in that enrollment packet thing? I thought that just linked back to the letter on the site because my email didn't have any attachments. I definitely don't think I got that, or did you get that with firm placement? I'm still waiting on mine so that could explain that.

No, it was in the blackboard website. You should have received an e-mail to sign up for the site and under the "Orientation/Training" section the book was included.

I still haven't received my placement, but I talked to my interviewer/recruiter and she said I should be receiving it shortly. She also said that they probably already tried to call me, which tells me that the firms have already selected their interns.

Cool, thanks for posting that. I'm hoping to get mine back today as well but there's still nearly three weeks before the earliest start date (assuming that that is June 1st) so I'm not too stressed. My phone was dead most of yesterday being with family though so I don't know if I have missed calls or not. You saved me a call and from wasting their time.
