Is there another program besides corporate law for law students?

I meant the program you forwent, SEO doesn't have any other law programs..

O gotcha my bad. It was cleo. I would rather do that than nothing considering Miami especially.

Awesome, congrats! Can I ask what kind of URM you are?

And yeah +1 on when you had everything submitted.

I submitted on the day of the deadline at about 11:00 PM and received an interview invite the next morning. I thought that was very odd. They e-mailed me again yesterday (I guess because I haven't scheduled an interview). I'm trying to figure out when I'd be able to do an in-person interview, they have so few times available.

Try a Skype interview? They had a few openings when the last email reminder was sent out. I think April 7-9th.

Just a quick question. The TLS page says that the acceptance rate is around 10% but they recruit over 3000 candidates for the corporate law program. Does that mean that they extend roughly 300 offers? Anybody know?

If "gonorrhea skills" means something to you, give me a PM to tell me how things go with SEO! Sorry about today, that was tough. You know who you are, I think. Cheering for you. :D

I know my recommendation hasn't come in because the professor hasn't even written it yet! (argh!!) I wasn't told anything about missing pieces at my interview though.

Doritos,

Thanks for the numbers, but I'm hoping that they extend 300 offers (in anticipation that only 50 accept)!

Anybody care to speculate as to why they only took 1 Chicago student?

It's a TTT institution? Maybe the applicants they had from there weren't what they were looking for (wrong URM type, stats, firms that were taking a lot of SEO interns had ties to different schools).

That would be fantastic if it were true (the 300 interview offers). The article says the acceptance rate is 10%, and if there are over 3000 candidates, that would mean they extend over 300 offers of acceptance.

By what you're saying (that they extend 300 interviews), it would suggest that everyone who interviews gets an offer.

Am I missing or misinterpreting something here? Am I on the fail train without knowing it?

That sounds way too optimistic.. I'm thinking maybe 300 Interviews, 80~90 offers, 50~60 actually go to SEO.

Do you think they'll accept even less this cycle because of the economy? that's scary... hope they still take 50 or 60 people

I do too, but I just think...you know if offers are down certainly a program like this would be too.

Because of the snow storm, I now have to interview in April. Will having a late interview substantially affect my chances?
