I meant the program you forwent, SEO doesn't have any other law programs..

I submitted on the day of the deadline at about 11:00 PM and received an interview invite the next morning. I thought that was very odd. They e-mailed me again yesterday (I guess because I haven't scheduled an interview). I'm trying to figure out when I'd be able to do an in-person interview, they have so few times available.

I feel like it starts on the 18th. I remember this because I graudate on the 15th and I was thinking "three days to say goodbye to all my friends and move to NYC?"

You've done the program already? What did a typical day include in the firm that you worked at?

No, I haven't done the program yet. I'm applying for this year's program. I just seem to remember one of the application questions asking if I had any commitments between 5/18 and 8/13 or something like that.

Try a Skype interview? They had a few openings when the last email reminder was sent out. I think April 7-9th.

Just a quick question. The TLS page says that the acceptance rate is around 10% but they recruit over 3000 candidates for the corporate law program. Does that mean that they extend roughly 300 offers? Anybody know?

If "gonorrhea skills" means something to you, give me a PM to tell me how things go with SEO! Sorry about today, that was tough. You know who you are, I think. Cheering for you. :D

I know my recommendation hasn't come in because the professor hasn't even written it yet! (argh!!) I wasn't told anything about missing pieces at my interview though.

I have no idea. I am just doing my part in disseminating knowledge from one part of the internet to the other.

Doritos,

Thanks for the numbers, but I'm hoping that they extend 300 offers (in anticipation that only 50 accept)!

It's a TTT institution? Maybe the applicants they had from there weren't what they were looking for (wrong URM type, stats, firms that were taking a lot of SEO interns had ties to different schools).

That would be fantastic if it were true (the 300 interview offers). The article says the acceptance rate is 10%, and if there are over 3000 candidates, that would mean they extend over 300 offers of acceptance.

By what you're saying (that they extend 300 interviews), it would suggest that everyone who interviews gets an offer.

Am I missing or misinterpreting something here? Am I on the fail train without knowing it?

That sounds way too optimistic.. I'm thinking maybe 300 Interviews, 80~90 offers, 50~60 actually go to SEO.
