chiaro wrote:what did the second email say? does this mean i got an interview or not? i already scheduled an interview...is that still valid then?
I dont think it is the same interview schedule. You should still have an interview they just sent the wrong email initially. The second email says:

"**Please disregard any previous interview invitations. There is no phone screen interview required for your first choice program area**"

I would just email careerprogram@seo-usa.org and ask them if they can resend it.

Does anyone know if all of their stuff has been received by SEO yet, I sent in my stuff probably a month ago. The transcripts my school sent aren't even posted to my profile yet either.

If you look on your SEO app rite after you sign in at the very bottom of the page they post the dates of the things that you receive/they receive.

Do you have anything other than your app being listed? I seem to recall them saying they don't do individual confirmation of items, but that they will contact you if you're missing something.

I called to check, basically my answer was that they are receiving literally thousands of documents so it will take a while. I have sent in all required documents, except my enrollment deposit.

They say they render decisions roughly 2 weeks post your enrollment confirmation. Some part of me is slightly tempted to just enroll now and speed up my decision...waiting on my other schools is driving me nuts...I just want to hear *something* from *somewhere*

They could literally give 2 )(()$$)*'s less about your SAT, tons of people font even put it down.
Yeah I can't lie, I only have to wait for Chicago's aid package, I just got mine from Duke. I'm gonna barter between the two and pull the trigger within the next 2 or 3 weeks.

I didn't get anything yet...

OH NOES.

I was expected money because I was a ward of the court and was supposed to get some need based. Maybe they will give me a few grants. I'm also applying for that fellowship thingy...and the ABAnet scholarship which Chicago matches.

Yeah I'm an Oliver Twist case myself, except black (maybe thats why our cycels kicked so much ass) but I was applying to those same things too. As soon as I get my Fin Aid thing from Chicago I'm sending in my deposit to them and the copy to SEO. I'm wondering if I should just jump the gun and send them my Duke scholarship in an email and ask them to match it or more..... your thoughts?

Also, does anyone know the SEO dates? How long does the program last and when does it begin and end? I'm talking about both the actual internship + the 2-week class and training period.

I don't remember where it's listed... but I think it says most internships go through late july or early august. I'll look for the exact reference, with training commencing around memorial day.

I know for certain it starts a few days after labor day weekend, end date I can't nail down an exact date but it seems like early to mid August.
