Is it correct to assume this is per week and for nyc? Do weekly salaries differ by location? Firm, etc.?
Yes. Yes. Not very much. One firm was hourly. They would make a little more than $1200 some weeks, but mostly $1200 is standard. Most NYC firms are lockstep, even for SEOs. Can't speak about other markets, but I think it's similar.
Thanks!

Two non TLS friends saw movement. One got an offer yesterday and the other a follow up interview for tomorrow.

Both are bidding for non-NYC markets.

They are, there's a good amount of people from lower T-14s.

2. SEO is *not* going to like you only being able to commit to 8 weeks. You'd only be at the firm for 6 weeks then (if I'm understanding correctly)
what did this come out to post tax per pay check? any tips on adjusting withholdings for max summer cash?

1. Depends on where you're from
2. Nope. I just waited for my refund.

If it was 1200 every two weeks, would you have turn it down?

You don't know if it's full yet. They've put a lot of DC people in NY, but yet no one on this site has reported a DC acceptance so there could still be spots.

I'm glad I found this thread! I thought I was the only one checking my email every 5 seconds. lol. My follow up interview was 12 days ago and LA is my top choice. I'm going to a top 20. Hope I hear back by the end of the week. LA can't be full yet! If so, then SF or NYC will do! I just need to now ASAP! lol

Probably. I'm not sure how I would substain in NYC on that little pay. Most of us ( well me) come from underprivileged backgrounds do I would have no way to supplement my income for housing.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
