What does SOP mean?

Am i the only one who had like NO interaction with my FSO after my interview? (aside from a thank you, etc).
I mean I didn't have any questions for him. I see no reason why you WOULD be in touch...
Same here, other than to confirm a few issues related to my interview before he submitted my paperwork, no interaction. :?

Congratulations to all those selected.
I just received a message from my FSO saying that I am among you. I am very humbled.
My FSO confirmed that there were 100 selectees from the 770+ who applied. Around a 12% accession rate.

3rd application - 3rd time as an alternate.

Since last application 2 years ago (3L spring) - added a year of public defense, federal clerkship, research project for JAs in the field, and 4.0 gpa for my last semester of law school. Completely baffled - I guess they took some alternates last year at least as opposed to the times I was an alternate and none were picked up.

Congrats to all those selected.

I didn't make either list but it was my first application. Now it's time to look forward to the Air Force DAP, which admittedly would be my first choice anyway.

Ditto. Do you think that since we haven't heard anything yet about calls going out today (for AF), today isn't the day?

With the caveat that I have zero insider knowledge, I doubt we'll be hearing before Christmas. Apparently, the Army and Air Force both decided to throw a wrench into things and release their results at different times this year.

AF DAP results are up.

With the holidays, SJAs may not be in the office, so do not freak out if you don't get a phone call immediately.

100 selectees... That's like a 13% selection rate. That's twice what it was in my day. This job is becoming easier and easier to get into. If you meet any Army JAGs from the 2010-2011 selectees, you should give them greater deference.

Joking aside, congrats to the selectees. It's going to be a long wait until you actually start the job.

So clearly I was wrong. Now I hope I'm wrong in thinking that the Air Force will be a big no as well.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much the Army 2L internship pays? Is it at the GS-9 level or something similar? Thanks.

Anyone professionally recommended for Navy Jag DA (Fiscal 2013) but on hold due to budget situation? My brother is being told it will be spring before they know anything concrete (how many, when they go to Newport, etc.)

I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with sequestration. The entire military is on hold right now waiting to see what Congress does.

Didn't make it on army jag. Should I ask my interviewer how I could have improved.
