Bump on Littler. Anyone hear anything? They've removed the 2020 applications from their website.

Dead silence from screeners. It has been 3 weeks. Is it fine to call and ask about the situation? Given that I have to reply to a different job offer?

Thank you !

With Cleary and Skadden, did they say whether they were not looking for 3L's or did they just reject your candidacy in particular?

Well...I can't tell. It says something like "we are not able to invite you to our office for an interview"

I have a 3L job offer. Worked at a regional biglaw firm this summer in litigation and didn’t love it. Went through the 3L OCI process and received a corporate offer from a more prominent national firm (secondary market). Can’t believe I’m waffling on this, but should I be worried about taking the corporate job in this economy? Is that an inappropriate question to ask when I meet a partner for coffee later this week? Am I crazy to think that a litigation offer from a firm I summered at is a safer bet than a corporate offer at a firm I would be the only non-summer at? I am just about to have my first kid, so I really can’t afford to take any chances. FWIW both jobs would pay market and I really did not like litigation (I always wanted corporate, but took what I could get).

You should take the corporate job and you should not ask someone about whether they are going to fire you in the event of a downturn. I can't believe people need to be told this.

How did you get the screener? Those two firms never posted on my school's simplicity.

Not the poster who asked about callbacks above, but I applied to LW directly by sending my resume/transcript to recruiting (SoCal), did my screener a week later and got invited for a CB a little less than a week after that.

Ding from Littler SF.

Got a CB early last week from a firm I interviewed with like 3 weeks ago at OCI, so there’s still hope!

Those who did cb at STB--were you invited to the office for the screener as well? If so, what was it like? Thanks in advance :)

edit: this is for NY office!
