Debevoise or Davis Polk?
I am deciding between Deb and DPW for NY. I want to do litigation and kind of have been wavering all day back and forth. Any input would be great and thank you!!!

For lit, I’d say Debevoise, and they are particularly strong on white collar if you are interested in that type of work.

Crazy if you think DPW is "clearly" better. Don't look at Vault. Check out Chambers. Debevoise is #1 band in IP lit, international arbitration, white collar. DPW you'll just get lost in the crowd.

Debevoise's Vault ranking (#18) is absurd and is exhibit no. 1 of why Vault is BS. Debevoise is a straight up peer with PW, LW, KE, Cleary, and Weil and a cut above Sidley (13), Covington (15) and Jones Day (16). Furthermore, the difference between DPW and Debevoise is basically nothing, especially in litigation. Fit should be your deciding factor.
