Changing jobs 3L summer

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Aug 16, 2018 4:25 pm

Hi all,

I’m hoping for some advice. I accepted an offer at a regional firm 2L summer. My professor who’s a partner at a NYC v20 told me about a position opening and I interviewed and was offered a position. However I feel guilty about reneging on an offer and am concerned this can ruin my career. Has anyone experienced this? I know In the business world this is more commonplace (my background) but I’m concerned especially after discussing with my schools career services.
