Partnership prospects at smaller office

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Aug 15, 2018 8:59 pm

I am in the late stages of interviewing for a couple midlevel positions at a smallish office of a national firm in a secondary market. In one, I'd be one of a handful of associates. In the other, I'd be one of the first hires by a partner building out their team.

Do either of these situations boost my prospects of being considered for partner down the road, or does this dynamic make my prospects grimmer?
