Re: NYU EIW 2018
Is anyone else doubting this Strike a Match data? I know it is averages, but talking to people it seems like most are way below the average # of callbacks for grade ranges. e.g. 10.2 CBs 3.3-3.49; 7 CBs 3.29-3.0

Re: NYU EIW 2018
With a firm like Davis Polk, if you haven't gotten a ding yet then you are definitely on WL but I wouldn't get hope up too much. Most will take their CBs there and then they have 28 days to sit on it whenever they decide to take there offer. The only hope you have is some gunners get their V5 offer early next week and are courteous enough to cancel on them right away

Re: NYU EIW 2018
For the strike a match, focus on the perctenage of the screener to cb ratio, rather than the amount. Some people had like 20-30 screeners which is a large range

As the person who got the ding, Idk. my DP interview was the only uncomfortable one of the day. Didn't care about anything other than my transcripts. Literally brushed my resume aside and went straight for my transcripts. So i think it's more a sign that my interview just was that bad.

I got dinged by DPW too, but I thought my interview went well. My interviewer took my transcript and put it face down. Grades not discussed once.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:So when do we start freaking out that we are in the WL pile?Anonymous User wrote:Davis Polk NY Ding
